- Dec 18, 2011I found this small generator cover to be the closest dimensionally to the Briggs and Stratton 8500 unit that I keep stored in the basement 'at the ready.' I am a little surprised at the light weight feel of the material but it won't be outside so it should hold up. The only issue I have for my application is the shirt-skirt fit on my 26" x 18" x 26" generator but given the dimensions listed I shouldn't be surprised. I use several woodworking tools in my basement shop and sheltering the unit from the sawdust is why I bought a cover. Even with the elastic bottom fitting 6" off teh floor it looks like it should be about 90% effective. Nice product, as advertised.Purchased on Dec 14, 2011
