- Feb 1, 2012I am very pleased with this cover, it is very good quality. The cover that came with my firepit was light weight PVC and didn't last through our first winter storm. I live in the Texas Panhandle and we get some very high winds. My firepit is 42.5"x42.5" so I had to go with the 52"x52" cover, I was a little worried about it staying on being that much bigger than the firepit. The new cover has a draw string to snug it up at the bottom and it withstood our latest storm with snow and wind gusts over 50 mph. I wish it were available in more sizes.Purchased on Jan 28, 2012
