- Nov 28, 2022Dump the tarp, get the cover.I usually cover my patio furniture with a giant tarp that inevitably is whipped off by wind so I went a different tack this year and purchased a glider cover and four chair covers. I just put them on so I'm judging blind until the snow and wind get them but the quality of the material is thick. Grateful that there is a tag that says "back" to help with fitting. Many different sizes available so mine is a bit large but I ordered the fitting bungee cords and think all will be well. - Nov 14, 2022Nice cover, overall.Overall, I'm pleased with the cover. It's well-made with quality material that I hope will last under my variable Ohio weather conditions. Time will tell. I've had two problems so far: (1) There is a lot of room (material) above the glider seat that sags and collects rain water. I found it necessary to place a bucket upside down on the seat. This allows water to drain off the cover. (2) During a recent day with consistent high winds (25-35 mph), the cover would fill with air like a balloon and rise up the front legs, even with the hem cord cinched as tight as possible.
