How to Measure Your Christmas Tree
Coverstore's Christmas Tree Storage Bags are designed to hold trees that separate into multiple pieces. If your tree is a single piece, make note of the total height of your tree and make sure the width measurement of the storage bag is equal to or larger than the height. For trees that separate into multiple pieces, use the instructions below to find the correct size storage bag.
Height
Measure the tree while it is fully assembled, or refer to the original packaging.
*This is a starting point to help you narrow down the bag size you need. Each product title will state the maximum height of a tree it can hold.

Base Height
Measure the length of the longest section of the tree while it is detached, this is most likely the base.
*The longest piece of your tree should be equal to or less than the width measurement of the storage bag.

Base Depth
If your tree is particularly thick, you may want to also measure the depth of the base of your tree. With the branches compressed, measure side to side across the top of the section. This should be around the same as the depth measurement of the storage bag
Please round up your dimensions to the nearest inch.

Tree with very large girth fit nicely with room to spare. Made moving the tree almost effortless. We were going to down size the tree due to the effort to drag it up and down our stairs. - product description says it will hold up to an 11 ft tree. We have a 10 ft tree in five sections which does not fit in this bag. The photo of the bag implies some sort of reinforcement or stiffening along the edges and corners - that is not the case. We could have purchased a couple of large plastic bins, spent less money and had better storage and protection for our tree.Purchased on Jan 11, 2015
- I bought this bag to house a new 12ft Christmas tree. The tree fits inside just fine. The quality of the material is very substantial, and everything appears to be well-manufactured. I will know better after several years of use, of course. Because the bag is not structured it was difficult to maneuver. I would recommend the structured bag for such a heavy tree. - This case is large and very roomy.There is plenty of space for other greens beside the tree. The rectangular shape makes it spacious.It is not a struggle to fit the tree in the case and the pocket inside is perfect for holding the cords. - I have not yet used the bag to store my 7 1/2 foot Christmas tree, but I find the bag to be very well constructed and look forward to using it for many years. It took a few minutes to figure out how to insert the stiff backing, but once I had it all laid out I saw the velcro fastenings and then the insertion went smoothly.
