How to Measure Your Christmas Tree
Coverstore's Christmas Tree Storage Bags are designed to hold trees that separate into multiple pieces. If your tree is a single piece, make note of the total height of your tree and make sure the width measurement of the storage bag is equal or larger than the height. For trees that separate into multiple pieces, use the instructions below to find the correct size storage bag. View our videos at the bottom of the page for specific instructions for structured tree bags and tree duffel bags.
Height
Measure the tree while it is fully assembled, or refer to the original packaging.
*This is a starting point to help you narrow down the bag size you need. Each product title will state the maximum height of a tree it can hold.
Base Height
Measure the length of the longest section of the tree while it is detached, this is most likely the base.
*The longest piece of your tree should be equal or less than the width measurement of the storage bag.
Base Depth
If your tree is particularly thick, you may want to also measure the depth of the base of your tree. With the branches compressed, measure side to side across the top of the section. This should be around the same as the depth measurement of the storage bag.
