How to Measure for Custom Square/Rectangular Garbage Covers

Before you order your custom cover, you will need to carefully measure the dumpster it is meant to cover. Our guide below will walk you through the steps to correctly and accurately measure your dumpster to ensure you get the best fit.

Width

Measure side to side across the longest side of the dumpster.

*Be sure to include anything that extends past the body of the dumpster, such as handles or steps.

Measure the side adjacent to the Width for the Depth side.

*Be sure to include anything that extends past the body of the dumpster, such as handles or steps.

Please round up your dimensions to the nearest inch.

Additional Tips

To provide the best fitting cover, we add 2" allowance along the width and depth dimensions.
