How To Measure for Custom Air Conditioner Covers

Before you order your custom cover, you will need to carefully measure the air conditioner it is meant to cover. Our guide below will walk you through the steps to correctly and accurately measure your AC to ensure you get the best fit.

Width

Measure the side without wiring and piping.

Depth

Measure across the side of the AC unit with the wiring and piping, adjacent to the width.

*This side of the cover will contain an opening and fasteners for the wiring and piping.

Height

Measure from ground to top of air conditioner

Please round up your dimensions to the nearest inch.

Additional Tips

To provide the best fitting cover, we add 1" allowance along the width and depth. An extra 2" allowance is added to the depth if AC dimension is greater than 48".
