How do I measure my cover?

Finding the proper size cover is very important to the overall protection of your outdoor investments. A cover too small won't provide adequate protection, but one too large could create pockets for standing water and may balloon on windy days. We recommend choosing a cover that is 1-2 inches shorter than what you are covering to help with breathability. Depending on the collection, our covers include a variety of features designed to help keep your cover in place if it is slightly too large.

If you can't find the perfect size, it is best to go with the next size up or look at our custom cover options.

Are your products available for purchase in stores or through a print catalog?

Our products are currently only available for purchase through our secure website or by contacting our Customer Care team, toll free at (866) 889-8896. Please note that wait times are longer than usual due to a high call and email volume. We appreciate your patience during this time.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards, as well as PayPal, Shop Pay and Apple Pay.

Can I pay for my order in installments?

Yes. At checkout you can select Shop Pay Installments to split your purchase into smaller payments.

Can I purchase a cover using my credit card and have it shipped to another address?

Yes, we can ship to locations that are different from the 'Bill To' address. This is especially helpful when shipping gifts!

Will I be charged sales tax?

Items sold on Coverstore.com and shipped to locations both inside and outside the US, including territories, may be subject to tax. For example, if you live in a state that does not impose a sales tax, you may still see tax calculated on your order if shipped to another state. Orders shipping to international addresses will incur GST/PST, which are combined and listed on one line in calculating your shopping cart total. No tax is charged when purchasing gift cards; however, purchases paid for with gift cards may be subject to tax.

How can I change my delivery address?

For a complete address change, the fastest and most reliable option is to cancel the order from your account dashboard and place a new one with the correct shipping information. If your order has not yet been processed, typically within 60 minutes of being placed, a "Cancel Order" button will be available.

For minor corrections — such as adding a missing unit or apartment number, or fixing a ZIP code — we can typically update the address before the order ships. Contact our Customer Care Team as soon as possible at (866) 889-8896 and we'll do our best to help.

Once your package is fulfilled, we are unable to change the shipping address, redirect the shipment or cancel the order. You may be able to manage the delivery by signing into the carrier's website directly with your tracking number to request a package hold or change, though additional fees may apply.

How do I cancel my order?

We process orders within 60 minutes of being placed, seven days a week. Orders cannot be changed or canceled once processed.

Warranty Information

Do I need to Register my product?

You will not need to register your product(s). All items sold by Coverstore are auto-registered. Please refer to your order number and email address associated with the transactions should you need to submit a claim.

Does the warranty cover water resistance?

No. Although our outdoor covers come with moisture repellent properties, they will still hold moisture under certain circumstances. To avoid trapped moisture, ensure the cover fits tightly and is 1-2 inches shorter than the item being covered to allow for airflow. Pooling water can lead to water seeping through your cover. To avoid this, we recommend an air bag to elevate the cover, which promotes water runoff. We also recommend applying fabric protectant annually to ensure your cover continues to repel moisture over time.

Does the warranty cover mildew?

No. Our outdoor covers are designed for breathability, but outlying factors can encourage mold and mildew. The best defense against mold and mildew is to prevent trapped moisture by choosing a proper-fitting cover that is 1-2 inches shorter than the item being covered. Sitting water caused by low points in your cover can lead to mildew growth. An air bag can elevate your cover, creating a slope to promote water runoff. Additionally, removing the cover after prolonged wet periods and thoroughly drying the furniture before applying the cover will prevent mold and mildew.

To remove mold and mildew from your cover, combine one gallon of lukewarm water with 1/4 cup of bleach. While wearing protective gloves, spray the solution on a small area of the cover and let rest for five minutes. Gently scrub with a sponge or soft bristle brush. Be careful not to overwork or scrub too harshly as this could damage the water-repellent coating on the cover. After cleaning, rinse with a garden hose and air dry before storing or using your cover.

Does the warranty cover fading?

No. Fading means to lose color or brightness. Most covers will lose color after prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, but fading will not affect the functionality or durability. Choose one of our solution-dyed covers (Ultima, Prestige, and WeatherTite Max) for the best fade-resistance. The color of these covers is added before the yarn is woven into the fabric, making the color more saturated and less likely to fade quickly. Does the warranty cover damage to the item being covered?

No. Wind and other outlying factors can cause the cover to move or shift, leaving the item beneath it exposed. Fortunately, there are several ways to counter this effect. These include choosing a proper-fitting cover, utilizing security features like the adjustable drawcord and buckle straps, and making sure the item being covered is clean and dry to prevent trapped moisture and scratches. To add extra security in high wind environments, use our cover clamps to ensure the cover stays in place. Using an air bag will elevate your cover, creating a slope to promote water runoff and avoid trapped moisture from damaging your investment.

Is my cover under warranty if I make modifications to it?

No. Your warranty will be invalidated if you make any modifications or alterations of the product throughout the warranty term.

Is my cover under warranty if I machine wash it?

No. Your warranty will be invalidated if you machine wash your cover. For light cleaning, use a garden hose to spray off any dirt. For more thorough cleaning, use a sponge or bristle brush, mild soap, and warm water. Allow the cover to dry completely before folding or storing it in a dry area. What method do you use for shipping?

We use Priority, Standard, and Economy services. You can select the shipping method of your choice during the checkout process.

Please note: If you cannot receive a particular carrier at your address, please contact us prior to ordering.

Do you ship outside of the continental United States?

Yes! We currently ship to the 50 United States, Canada, Guam, The U.S. Virgin Islands, Australia, Puerto Rico, and military APO/DPO/FPO addresses. Learn More

When will I receive my order?

All orders are generally processed within 2 hours of being placed and shipped within 1-3 business days (weekends not included). Custom cover orders will take 1-2 weeks to ship. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number. If items become out of stock or backordered, you will receive an email with an updated timeline. Please review the Shipment Time Chart for typical delivery times to your area for international and domestic orders.

While our warehouse is processing and shipping orders out per usual, please note that our shipping carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS) are experiencing system-wide delays and all delivery dates quoted are estimates and not guarantees.

Is a signature required for deliveries?

A signature may be required. The postal carrier will ultimately determine if a drop-off location is safe based on their standards and may need someone to sign for the package. We recommend having someone present to receive the package for the safest results.

What if my order goes out of stock or is backordered?

We generally keep a good supply of all items available on our website. However, from time to time we may be out of stock on certain items. We may ship the items that we do have on hand, and backorder the remainder of your order. Backordered items will ship as soon as they are available at no extra shipping cost to you. You will not be charged for backordered items until they are available and processed to ship (excluding PayPal payments).

What should I do if my order hasn’t arrived yet?

When your order leaves our facility, a shipment confirmation and tracking number will be emailed to you. Check the tracking number for an updated shipping status. It's also possible that the items you ordered went out of stock and are backordered. We may ship the items we have on hand and ship the rest as soon as they are available at no extra shipping cost to you. If you need further assistance, please contact our Customer Care Team.

Returns

Can I return a cover I don’t like or that doesn’t fit?

While we strive to provide you with the best cover possible, we understand that sometimes it just doesn't work out. We offer a 30-day (beginning on the date of delivery) no-questions-asked return policy for a full product refund. Simply fill out our return form to guide you through the process. Please note that Covermates custom covers are not eligible for returns.

How do I create an exchange?

Direct exchanges are not currently possible. If you would like to exchange for another size or color, please fill out the return form and then place a new order.

How is my refund calculated?

You will receive the amount paid for each returned item. You will not be refunded for the original shipping cost unless there was a mistake on our end, e.g. wrong item sent or item was never received. If our pre-paid return shipping label is selected, that amount plus associated taxes, if applicable, will be deducted from the refund total. The price for the pre-paid label will be shown during the return process. Note: Pre-paid shipping labels are only available for shipments within the US.

Is there a shipping charge for returning an order?

For US orders in the 48 contiguous states, we offer a prepaid FedEx return label service. If you choose this option, the return shipping cost of $7.50 for (1) item or $10 for (2) or more items will be deducted from your refund. If our pre-paid return shipping label is selected, that amount plus associated taxes, if applicable, will be deducted from the refund total. Note: Pre-paid shipping labels are only available for shipments within the US.

How long does it take for me to get a refund?

For the vast majority of returns, once your item is received, you can expect your refund to be issued within 5-7 business days. Please note there may be a delay in your refund appearing in your account, due to varying processing times between card issuers and payment types. Please allow additional time for your return to be processed during the holiday season.

To see our materials in person, we can ship you a free swatch samples. We offer one free swatch per SKU per customer to help you find the best material for your needs.
