How to Measure Your Christmas Tree
Before you order your storage bag, you will need to carefully measure the Christmas tree it is meant to hold. Keep in mind that height is a general guideline for choosing a bag, but true fit will also depend on the girth and thickness of the tree. Our guide below will walk you through the steps to correctly and accurately measure your tree to get the best fit.
Height
Measure the tree while it is fully assembled, or refer to the original packaging.
Width/Diameter
Measure across the widest point of the tree while it is standing from side to side.
*It may help to place the measuring tape across the floor beneath the tree. Keep in mind that the branches can compress slightly to fit inside the bag.

I ordered a couple of extra straps but didn't use them: if even the attached straps are cinched down, the tree limbs would need a lot of "refreshing" when the tree is brought out for next Christmas.
